So I took about a three hour nap after I got home from my classes today. Then immediately after waking up, downed 2 rather large cups of coffee. I'm at work and hyperthanasunavubitch. The only way to put this energy to good use at work is by typing. So i've uh...been doin' a lot of that. I just sent Brandy a GIANT email...and now that that's done, I've moved on to bloggins.
Friday night was fun! I went down to Micah+Leslie's to hang out, drink fo-teez and play an insane amount of sims 2. I've said something to this affect many times before, but that game eats away the hours like jeff dahmer ate gay dudes. I also found out that night that Micah has a child. It was a bit strange to me that I didn't already know that. Did I? Nah, I'm pretty sure that's somethin' I'd put in the "important shit to remember" drawer of my mental file cabinet. Leslie was thoughtful enough to buy me a couple awesome no-particular-occasion gifts: a bottle of smell-good, that does indeed, smell good, and an Inuyasha shoulder pad that straps on to muh seat belt. Works wonders, btw. Of course, my seat belt sags when not in use...but this hasn't posed a problem as of yet.
In my scholarly news, next week I have to give a speech(in speech class, guh-hyuk) about a hero I have. This is a problem. I don't really have any 'heroes' that I could really talk about at length. I mean, there's the people I maybe could say "yeah, they're bad ass." or something similar, but other than that...there really isn't anyone I idolize or aspire to be. My mom made the suggestion of writing about the authors of the constitution, as they are heroes of our country and shit, and my teacher said it could be about anyone we wanted, as long as they were real (cut to me cursing under my breath; 'fuck! i wanted to write about spiderman...'), so even though that topic isn't particularly interesting to me, it could definitely be spoken about for five minutes. This actually might be a two-bird-one-stone-murder, as in Government we're studying the constitution...so...by doing the research for my speech, I might actually pass my test in Government with a grade above a C. Though, that might be stretching it. Furthermore, all I'll need as research material for my speech is my fucken Gov book! See how that all comes together?
My deviantart has been getting a bit of attention lately. More than I ever thought I'd get...so...that makes me happy. I'm feeling slightly less shitty about the 14 year olds on there that can draw 50 billion times better than me and have twice that many watchers.
Brandy sent me paintshop pro through aim(lol piracy's too easy) the other day. I actually really like it. Not too different from photoshop, and it's actually a bit less frustrating. I do miss some of PS's short cuts. psp has a few of the same ones though...I don't think I know them all yet anyway.

My goodest buddy Braniichan informed me that Adult Swim's gonna be airing new anime in March. I'm making predictions now. So far I only have 2 in mind...
first, I'm thinkin' Ergo Proxy. It's a pretty recent anime, and it's definitely twisted enough for the adult swim audience...I haven't gotten to watch all of it yet, but i will at some point.
second...I'm thinkin'...or rather, hoping, it'll be Death Note...I mean come on, it's already liscensed and in the process of being dubbed so the dvds can be put out here in the good ol US...so...it could happen. nevermind the fact that the series isnt even halfway done in japan...but whatever. Not that I'm even super psyched to hear what L and Light will sound like in english...and I'm afraid of what they'll change. Like, will they call the Shinigami Death Gods? or change it to something stupid like they did with bleach. Soul Reapers...it makes sense but...it was an unnecessary change IMO. Seriously though, how could a netherworldly being that looks like Ryuk possibly be called something other than a God of Death? I dunno...we'll see. Or maybe they'll do what Brandy said...and change L to R. lmfao.
hmm...what else could it be? oooo, what if it was Black Cat?! I doubt it, but that would be hawt. purr.
Along with all that, hopefully by that time there will be a new season of Metalocalypse!! That would be zen. I had a dream I was in Metalocalypse last night, actually...like, I was just a character, not a Dethklok member or anything. I don't really remember what happened...but...I'm sure it was all bad ass.
and holy fucken shit...guess what's coming NEARER AND NEARER!!???! THE NARUTO TIME SKIP!!!! It's finally only a couple of weeks away!!!! Along with it will come new merch...including the fucken time skip naruto fighting game...thats, of course, only for the fucken Wii...which means i'll have to get one. Though, by the time it's available here, the Wii will probably be more affordable for me. The Bleach fighting game that's coming out for Wii looks badass too...you use the Wiimote to control your zampakuto...wiipakuto. SWORD VIOLENCE!

Okay, I know Atreyu has been around for a little while...
but why the fuck did they just put out a 'best of' album? I mean...seriously. I love them and all; they're a kick ass band...but...a 'best of'? They aren't nearly famous enough, nor have they had enough big hit singles, IMO. The album also comes with a new song, which is cool...but are they just putting out a best of album so they can sell this one new song?
None of this really pisses me off or anything like that, if they wanna put out an album of "bests" then by all means, throw that shit out there...I just find it vexing.

oh yeah, Sunset Grey got their first ever complaint at a show the other day. Apparently we offended some old lady who was there to see a couple of pussy ass christian bands, so she went up to the bartender and said "Can we do something about them? Do I have to listen to this?!" and the bartender says "Well, you can go outside." I don't think the three of us have ever been prouder. Yeah we've played Warped twice, won battles of the bands...but a real-live complaint?! Come on, that shit beats all.
